Simply sprucing up the appearance of your property could go a long way in boosting the appraised value. Do some cleaning and organizing. Also, make any minor repairs that you can.

During the appraisal, the appraiser might have important questions to ask you. It's important that you're available to answer questions. You might be able to provide helpful information that will boost the appraised value of your property.
